Adjusting to local time in the Virgin Islands can help you make the most of your vacation
Zone Out
Both the USVI and the BVI are located in the Atlantic Standard Time Zone, which puts them one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time (New York City and Miami).
It should be noted, however, that unlike most of the U.S. mainland, the Virgin Islands do not observe daylight savings time. Therefore Atlantic Standard time and Eastern Standard time are the same during the summer months.
