Hours of operation on the Virgin Islands can vary from island to island and depend greatly on the season and the arrival of cruise ships or tour groups.
The table below includes standard hours, but consult your hotel concierge or front desk for up-to-date information.

| St. Thomas, USVI | Business hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shops may open on Sunday for cruise ship arrivals. Bars are usually open from 11 a.m. to midnight or 1 a.m., but popular locations may have later hours. |
| St. John and St. Croix, USVI | Stores and businesses are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. |
| The British Virgin Islands | Expect offices to be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Government offices may open and close half an hour earlier (from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Shops run the same hours, and are open on Saturday from 9 a.m. To 1 p.m. |
