Sapphire Village Activities and Recreation

Activities and Recreation at Sapphire Village

A wide variety of recreational activities isn't necessarily required for a great vacation. While some prefer a hotel that offers non-stop recreational action, others can enjoy themselves with very few active recreational options, or they simply want a relaxing place to stay. While the hotel doesn't have an extensive array of recreational offerings the Sapphire Village may have what you want.

Water and Fitness

In fact, since there are 2 pools pool venues to choose from, it should be easy for you find a spot in the sun.

Tennis

The hotel doesn't have a tennis court, so if tennis is important to you, this may not be the ideal hotel. But, this doesn't trouble most guests, who find plenty of other activities to entertain them during their stay.

If you're a tennis enthusiast you may want to compare this hotel to other ones that have tennis courts – especially those with high ratings for tennis. Two other hotels that may be worth considering include Carambola Beach Resort as well as Westin Resort, St. John.

Golf

Although a golf course isn't one of the amenities, if you're interested in spending some time on the links, the hotel can help you reserve a tee time at a nearby course. The nearest course is Mahogany Run Golf Course - Public, located 4.5 miles west of the Sapphire Village. The total length of the course is 6,022 yards, and it is rated as par 70. Greens fees are as follows: $130.00. For more details, you can call 340-777-6250.

Watersports

Despite the fact that the hotel doesn't offer watersports, you can look for vendors elsewhere in the Virgin Islands. By placing a few phone calls, visitors can enjoy some fun water activities.

Family Activities

When visiting the Sapphire Village you can bring the kids along, but there aren't a lot of family-friendly amenities. Since there aren't very many kids' amenities at the hotel, guests who are traveling with children should think carefully about their priorities and evaluate some other options before making a final decision. Toward that end, you should also consider one of the hotels that is rated best for family vacations.

Entertainment and Nightlife

Guests who want a vacation experience filled with live entertainment and exciting nightlife may want to consider some other options. Sadly, this area is better known for peace and quiet and live entertainment isn't offered by the hotel. Needless to say, if that isn't a fatal flaw the Sapphire Village may offer the perfect getaway. The hotel has a bar, but other options on-site are pretty limited. Other area hotels provide places where you can spend an evening out, as shown below:

From a morning on the water to a few hours learning about the rich local culture, how you enjoy your tropical retreat is completely up to you.
