They are an easy reach from Tortola - ideal for your first night aboard or your last stop before returning your boat in the morning.

ust steps from the shore, their duplex cottages are nestled on the hillside, surrounded by coconut palms and tropical foliage. All private balconies enjoy fabulous views of Manchioneel Bay and The Sir Frances Drake Channel.

Each open-plan guest room is bright and airy with a traditional Caribbean hipped-roof. Louvered windows allow the breeze to pass through with the soothing sound of the waves. The vaulted wooden ceiling and cupola roof lets the warm air escape and a ceiling fan above the bed keeps guests cool at night without the need for air conditioning.

The en-suite bathroom leads to an outdoor shower and private rear staircase with rinse station. Cooper Island Beach Club's fresh water supply comes from the sky and solar water heaters supply the showers with hot water.

Ninety photovoltaic panels on the restaurant roof now provide the resort with up to 70% of its power needs. Each guest room has 24hr power for lighting and ceiling fan, plus a 110 Volt outlet in each room can recharge cameras, iPods, laptops etc. (Please leave hair dryers, irons and other high voltage appliances at home).

The Baths are a collection of giant boulders which have formed spectacular pools and grottos that are flooded with sea water at high tide. A short hike away, you will find Devil's Bay, a white sandy beach and excellent snorkeling amongst a host of colorful reef fish.

The Bar features stools and lounge furniture made from recycled fishing boats, all the tables and outdoor sofas are made from reclaimed timber. Free WiFi is available to all bar & restaurant customers. Come and enjoy the notorious 'Painkiller' cocktail invented here in the BVI. Or try a Cooper Island special from the cocktail list. Happy Hour starts at 5pm and Cooper Island Beach Club's beach bar and decked lounge is one of the best places to watch the sun go down behind Tortola.
